Force uses devices like PLC's, panels and dataloggers to collect data from the factory floor.

SP420 Data Collection Terminal

SP420 Data Collection Terminal, is a programmable device and it is especially designed to collect data from the machines and production lines on the factory floor.

Data can be collected by SP420 through the built-in inputs & keypad or serial devices such as barcode readers, card readers that can be connected over the serial port.

SP420 is easy to use and has a simple programming interface. No special programming knowledge is needed. 

SP420 can easily be installed on existing lines thanks to its compact design. It features bidirectional communication with the server computer.

The device is designed for use in industrial environments incorporating EMI filter and optically isolated I/Os. Its operating voltage is 24 VDC.

The user interface can be configured according to the level of the user and customized to display only the relevant tasks for each user.

SP420 continues to collect and store data even when the communication has failed. It sends all the stored data to the server once the communication is restored.

Digital outputs can be used for alarms. Warning and confirmation pages minimize the incorrect data entry.

It uses the RS-485 communication structure due to reliability and communicates up to 1200m without the need for a repeater.

Power Meter

Power meter is another type of hardware which is used with Force Production Monitoring System.

They are used in conjunction with DataMasterII software for on-line monitoring and reporting of the energy consumption on a machine basis. Therefore, energy costs can be calculated and associated correctly for each work order, which eventually affects the overall product cost.

Irrespective of production, energy consumption and power parameters of each point can independently be monitored and recorded too.

Andon Panel

Andon panels can be used with Force to display certain on-line production parameters on the factory floor such as Target/Actual Production, Production Speed, Downtimes etc.

LCD TVs or monitors are the standard hardware used in the system. However, LED type panels can also be used on request.
          
It has been observed that using andon panels on the factory floor have a positive impact on production efficiency in labor-intensive and line type productions.

Barcode Reader 

Barcode reader is a component that is used for fast and easy data entry.

Production parameters like work orders, pre-defined downtime reasons, operator codes can be scanned by barcode readers that are connected to the data collection terminals to be transferred to the server. This, eliminates incorrect data entries and possible delays.
